“Walking through the caverns of Abaddon, the ruler, Abadone’s, grin grew wider, culminating in a foreboding smile as the screams of his eternal guests echoed through the endless chambers. He was stopped dead in his tracks by the surge of an overwhelming blast of cold air, and jerked his head sideways to look beyond the walls of fire, breaking through the glowing, red hot, rocky bottom at his feet.

On the other side he saw his son, Arch, preparing to wage war against his demon bitch. The very female he’d sent with handpicked Furia to bring Arch back to his rightful world. The world where his son was destined to reign at his side as Prince of Abaddon. A destiny Arch tried to renounce by escaping to another realm. The current ruler of Abaddon watched the battle unfolding before his eyes, and realized Arch wasn’t alone. No, there was someone else. Someone fought at his back, ‘with’ him, and not one of his damned servants. Observing a smaller figure covered in fur, his nostrils flared as his eyes narrowed, and hands balled into clenched fists of fire as the one aiding Arch turned and came into full view.

Rage had his blood boiling through his veins; he clearly saw the face of his archenemy. The same being threatened his very existence by preventing his son’s obligatory return to the world below. The very race of abominations he thought he had destroyed centuries ago. One now fought alongside his son.

Infuckingpossible!

Whipping his head back, he thrust his right arm before him, immediately splaying his fingers, as the flames that were once his fist crashed into the rocky wall disintegrating it. Leaving nothing more than a hallowed out chamber. Abadone stared into the void, remembering back to a time when fire and ice coexisted within the same world. But that was before he crushed the entire Ice race for rejecting him, not choosing to ally with him. Therefore, forcing his hand to thwart the prophecy of his destruction, by bringing on theirs. Or so he thought. Blocking those memories he snapped his head back toward the flames linking him to the above realm, where he once again observed Arch and the ice princess. They stood side by side as they vanquished the last of some of his most powerful demons. He snarled. His son grew more powerful indeed.

“We are not done here,” Abadone growled into the flames. “Not even close.”
